An intimate rooftop bar and restaurant with a wrap-around terrace, will open on Tuesday 9th April. Sitting on the top floor of 1 Warwick, it's Soho's newest destination for Middle Eastern sharing plates and sundowner cocktails alongside panoramic views over Soho. Floor to ceiling windows flood the space with natural light, while marble-topped tables paired with pink velvet seating and huge rattan pendants create a glamorous yet informal space and there's the charming wrap-around terrace - overlooking the busy streets below. Executive Chef Tom Cenci (who also oversees the kitchen at 1 Warwick’s ground floor restaurant, Nessa) serves up a menu inspired by his time spent in Istanbul with hero dishes such as sumac cured salmon, with smoked yoghurt, citrus and chilli; sesame smoked duck with black za’atar and grilled corn salad and a Baklava ice-cream sandwich to finish. Washed down with the Grand Bazaar - Yasmin’s take on an Old Fashioned - with Evan Williams, Mancino Rosso, bitter honey aperitif and fig.

In the 19th century, Broadwick Street was home to a noted flute-maker who inspired the name of the rooftop dining bar that crowns this Soho hotel. Flute's landscaped wraparound outdoor terrace offers spectacular views over the Soho streets and skyline. Inside, the décor combines cocooned comfort with maximalist glamour - think animal-print upholstery, cork walls and mirrored ceilings united by an extravagant palm-frond carpet. From the onyx-topped central bar, Flute's bartenders serve up an ever-changing list of innovative cocktails and a menu of small plates including beef tartare with truffle, artichoke and Parmesan, and buttermilk fried chicken with ranch dressing. On the fourth floor of the hotel there is a large, leafy rooftop garden and oasis with sweeping views over the London skyline. There is a lounge area scattered with Whitman benches, upholstered seating and a bar. Designed to satisfy the senses, the garden is watched over by two ancient olive trees and surrounded by apple and pear espaliers. Raised beds made of railway sleepers and picket fencing form the salad, herb and vegetable gardens - with produce served in the restaurant’s daily specials. The garden is also home to bee hives which are tended to by a dedicated beekeeper with the honey used by the bar staff in the cocktail menu. Although its for residents only - the space host various pop-up concepts throughout the year.
